She also tracks how US media moved from briefly hailing progress to warning that peace talks are “in doubt” after mixed messages from Tehran and renewed IRGC attacks on tankers.

Mike Hanna, reporting live from the White House, shows how the president’s victory narrative clashes with confusion inside his own team. A tanker slips through. A blockade is challenged. And tensions surge once again across the seas. An Iranian oil vessel has defied what Iran calls an unlawful naval blockade imposed by the United States—and made it home.

The tanker, identified as Sili City, crossed the Arabian Sea under heavy military Escort and entered Iranian waters overnight. Officials in Tehran say the operation was conducted under full protection of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, ensuring safe passage despite repeated warnings from U.S. naval forces.

Iran is framing the move as a clear show of strength—a signal that its oil exports cannot be easily cut off. According to official statements, the vessel ignored multiple warnings and continued its journey before docking at a southern port.

The incident comes amid rising maritime tensions, as Washington enforces a sweeping blockade targeting Iranian oil shipments. The policy is aimed at increasing pressure on Tehran during sensitive negotiations. However, Iran argues the blockade violates a fragile ceasefire reached earlier this month—and appears increasingly willing to challenge it.

Funerals are being in Gaza after Israeli attacks killed at least five people.
Mourners gathered in Khan Younis in the south of the strip, where three Palestinians were killed in an attack near a police checkpoint.
Further north, in Beit Lahiya, a Palestinian woman was killed by Israeli gunboat fire.
Gaza's health ministry says more than 780 Palestinians have been killed since the start of a ceasefire in October.
