Chris Naughton about “Echoes In The After”:
“The lyric for this song was written as a reaction to the cutting down of the famous 'Robin Hood' tree at Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall, in the North East of the UK. The song is about how some people seem to loathe iconic symbols of history and cultural importance that the local community share in, and hold dear. It speaks to a wayward mentality of individuals who would happily see these types of landmark destroyed – as though nothing is sacred. The lyric paints an image of the land and nature responding to the damage of the tree – almost like it is reacting to the loss of a limb or of a part of itself. It speaks about the wider area being scarred by this situation - with the lyric being written like a lament from nature to itself, condemning the demise of such an iconic symbol. A event that felt like it occurred in a cold, oddly curated and premeditated manner. It was an unsettling circumstance that resonated with us all in the band; particularly as we had used the tree as inspiration for the artwork of our 2018 album, ‘The Hallowing of Heirdom’.”

TAILGUNNER about “War in Heaven (feat. Adam Wakeman)”:
"War in Heaven is a story of 2 parts. We shot the band side of the video back in February of 2025, on the same day as our single 'Midnight Blitz' at the now iconic KK's Steel Mill. It was a freezing cold Winters day, new drummer Eddie's first with the band, and we really pushed the limits on what could be captured in one day! Deciding later that this song in particular needed something extra special, we called Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple) to lay down the synths. It was then we knew we had to keep exploring what could be achieved on this song, and video, and shot the extra parts with frontman, Craig Cairns, to add a new dimension to the video, just as we are with our music on the bands first ballad 'War in Heaven.'

“We’re going to start this new partnership with Napalm Records off with a bang and give you something new to listen to while we continue to work on the new HEATHEN album. With that in mind, we recorded a couple of classic Bay Area Thrash tracks originally written by other bands that we played with in the early 1990s. The demo collectors out there may have heard these songs before, but they’ll be new to most of you. The first single is ‘Never a God’, originally recorded in demo form (with David White on vocals) by Laughing Dead. So, new record label, new music, new video, 12” Maxi Single pre-order, and a tour with Coroner in North America starting tomorrow. LFG!”
