hacking group Handala claimed a massive cyberattack on major Gulf steel producers Foulath Holding and SULB Company. The group, believed to be Iran-linked, says it breached critical industrial systems, surveillance networks, and SCADA controls—forcing key operations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia into shutdown.

Handala has labeled the attack a “retaliatory strike,” warning that more cyber offensives are coming. Screenshots released by the group allegedly show deep access into operational infrastructure, raising serious concerns about the vulnerability of critical industries.

However, no official confirmation has been issued yet, and cybersecurity experts urge caution, noting that the claims remain unverified. If true, this could mark a major escalation in cyber warfare targeting strategic industrial sectors in the Gulf.
